The 2019 New Zealand Secondary School Swimming Championships were held from September 12-15. Over 800 swimmers, representing 130 schools from throughout the country, were racing for national school points and rankings at Waterworld Te Rapa. St Peter’s had a team of 14 swimmers, who more than stepped up against much larger schools and showed their hard work in the pool over the last few months.
Over the last week, a group of Year 7 and 8 St Peter’s students have competed at the 2019 Anchor AIMS Games in Tauranga, with 11,500+ competitors representing 365+ schools from throughout New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific. St Peter’s students competed in BMX, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Hockey, Mountain Biking, Netball, Rugby Sevens, and Tennis.
